- The modem is not called V.34+. It's called 288V+ with the V+ meaning
- (presumbably) that this modem has voice functions. So, the
- differences from what I can tell between this modem and the FAXmodem
- is the following:

- 1. Voice support
- 2. improved throughput
- 3. better display

- Otherwise, everything else is the same -- the DSP is still not
- flashable (so a 33.6 upgrade will require a new datapump and a trip
- back to the factory). Oh, it's still Rockwell based (at least the
- datapump is -- I don't know what controller they are using).
